ubuntu 10.04启动脚本完成，但shell或xwindow未显示

Question

当我从9.10 - > 10.04自动更新我的ubuntu后，当启动脚本执行完成后，我无法进入系统。什么都没有出现。

然后我用开机ISO进入系统，挂载文件系统，找到boot.log，daemon.log和syslog都是正常的。

为什么这会发生，我该如何解决？我已经安装了grub，我可以用它来恢复我的内核吗？如果可以，如何启动它？

最后NetworkManager的“尝试启动方...”不断周而复始运行，它永远不会停止（我息事宁人昨晚8小时，我得到的daemon.log中记录它。）

它试图启动什么请求？我该如何解决或者忽略它？

我重新安装ubuntu。问题已经消失......但我仍然不知道发生了什么......
