Visual Studio更新向导MySql

我正在运行Visual Studio 2010，并尝试使用更新向导更新我的实体框架项目。当我尝试从MySql数据库添加单个表时，添加选项卡将显示我正在尝试添加的表，但是当我单击完成时，出现以下错误消息。

Unable to generate the model because of the following exception: 'An error occurred while executing the command definition. See the inner exception for details. 
    Fatal error encountered during command execution. 
     Fatal error encountered attempting to read the resultset. 
      Reading from the stream has failed. 
       Attempted to read past the end of the stream. 

如果试图从头开始创建实体框架，我会得到相同的错误消息。另外，服务器资源管理器在我测试时显示连接成功。

我还联系了托管数据库的Host Gator，他们无法在其中看到任何问题。

问题最终导致我们的共享服务器无法处理来自实体连接器框架的更新请求并且超时。一旦我们将数据库移到另一台服务器上，我们就不再有问题了。
