如果这是在你的数据库中的持久化属性，那么你应该定义迁移到添加一列。

如果它只是用户模型中的临时字段，那么您可以简单地在app/models/user.rb中添加class User的访问器。

class User < ActiveRecord::Base 
    attr_accessor :votes_cast 
end
